Thanks to all of you nice people for responding.
After a lot of thought, Wife prefers we stay at the Mirage, Her main concern is that the Cosmo may be just a tad "to hip" and for her and she would feel like a fish out of water, Being we are mid 50's and are no way close to being hip. lol But once again, Thanks for all the great information.

Unless something has changed, the VIP lounge access is just the check in room next to the front desk. They do have beer and wine in there, but is far from being a lounge. Not a place you would hang out as the primary use of that room is checking folks in and out.

Limo is nice, but not a deal breaker either way.

Cosmo has that balcony which is really nice.

Comes down to where you would like to play and eat.

Agree with mrjvegas, ballys and The Mirage are not comparable at all. Mirage is much better than Bally's plus has one of the best pool areas. I'm in my 50's and would take Mirage over Cosmo. Sorry...

    Dale,

Wife and I usually stay at Mirage within Mlife. We get suites there at Mirage. We also get offers at Cosmo. All I have to say is to try Cosmo at least once if suites with fountain view are available. We always ask for that when we stay. Tell wife not to worry about not fitting in. Just took my wife's parents and my parents...separate trips and they love it there. They also love Mirage...I guess that's not much help for you...LOL. Cosmo does have a younger crowd. Cosmo's casino floor is much, much smaller than Mirage's. Mirage is actually building couple of new bars/lounge. Don't know when they will be finished, but the new poker room has already reopened. Mirage is right next to Caesar's...where the concert will be right? Well, Cosmo is only separated by Belliagio to Caesars. So if you fountain view is available, give cosmo a try.

I only care about the gaming offers and activities on the casino floor. To me, Mirage is way better than Cosmo.
Cosmo is a hotel (some people may say it's a luxury hotel), it also has some slot machines and tables.
    Mirage is a Casino resort.

The square footage is almost equal. Actually Cosmo is 10k larger. Mirage does have several more BJ tables, but I would say for casino comparisons they pretty much are the same. Why are you saying Cosmo is a hotel and not a casino?
