For your downtown dinner - try out Oscars in the Plaza. Request a table next to the window overlooking downtown, pretty damn cool. Food is good, and pretty reasonable for Vegas.

Harrahs have a pretty decent tourney structure as do Cesars and the Venetien. They range between $100 to $300. It really depends on how long you want to play though. Any tourney that lasts for 2-3 hours will be cheap but have a shitty blind structure.

If you just want to get hammered over the course of the latter I'd go with the tourney at PH. Decent booze and eye candy.

The only one I can answer for you from personal experience is this one.

Yes if you are a meat eater it is worth it and they bring swords full of meat to your table and carve it in front of you. The do not stop bring it until you tell them to stop! There is a Red/Green thing on the table that you have to turn over to Red for them to stop bring the meat. Enjoy!!

    Hi Crooklyn
We will be at the Mirage as well. Check in late on the 20th and leave on the 27th. I will be at the mirage poker room in the evenings as we have a car and drive to different locales during the day.

Who knows you just might be the guy who runs me down with runner runner flush one night.

    "Best Breakfast in town"?

JMHO, but I would go with Tableau at Wynn. Fabulous food and service. The white chocolate french toast is to die for.....they do a brunch on Sunday, so there will also be some more lunch type things. If you get the Tableau breakfast, you will also get a basket of pastries. When we ate there last month, that pastry basket had raspberry turnovers......YUMMY!!

I have ate at the brailizian steakhouse at mirage. It is really good. They bring you few salads then they start to bring around the meats. It is a great experience. It is one of my favorite places to eat!
    Good luck on your trip!

I'm heading to the Mirage at the beginning of April, how were the poker tournaments there and did you play any cash games ($1 $2) or video poker?

    Cheers:beer:
