Word around the campfire is that there will be only 3 a night on the weekends and less during the week (Las Vegas Advisor)

Interesting. Isn't natural gas still dirt cheap or is it using propane or something? Never really thought about it.

That's a shame. It's still a classic that everyone should see once.

Just as well. For me the volcano's novelty wears off pretty fast. The fountains change up the music, and there are more places to watch, and it has a nice atmosphere. But the volcano? Once you've seen it its just a traffic jam and a bunch of noise.

It had been about 15 years since I stopped to the watch that volcano.. and last time I was out there I watched it. I was impressed !

I hope that's not true about slowing down the shows.

I really hope this isn't true. I'm making my 2nd trip to Vegas on Aug 10th and this was on my must do list. I hope its shown while I'm there Monday-Thursday. I still don't know how I forgot about it last year.

I wish the general public would cut down on their own eruptions inside the restrooms.

    Those sounds are horrifying.

I never plan on watching the volcano (or the fountains at Bellagio), but it's always a pleasure to walk by and see them going off. I usually stop and take in the experience, even if across the street. Too bad.

While the Mirage volcano is one of the iconic sights on the Strip, I'm sure it has not driven business into the casino in a very, very long time. I don't blame them, and I won't complain unless the space is turned into a grand bazaar.

It's not rumor. They have signs by the water saying this.
    Already in effect now.
Maybe one day they will stop the show altogether.
