    Hi!
    One question:
We booked and payed 3 days 20-23 september a room at the mirage,i think a "normal" room.
now i get a deal for 2 more days, from 18-20 september in a Tower Deluxe Room.
If i book the days 18-20, could it be with a little bit luck to sleep the whole five days in a tower room or do we have to switch the room after two days? i hope you understand this.
    thanks for the help.

    Jens

    Hi Jens,
I would assume that the chances of you holding onto your Tower Deluxe room for the full 5 days would solely be based upon availability. If I were you, I would definitely ask about holding onto the room for the full 5 days and make it known that you would like to do this. It also wouldn't hurt to try the $20 trick when asking to do so, as many people, including myself, have been successful with it at the Mirage. Good luck and enjoy! Was just at the Mirage 2 weeks ago and already can't wait to go back! -Ryan

Jens, that would be an upgrade. If you follow the comments here on how to get an upgrade ('the $20 trick"), you should have great success. Your check-in person is already putting you in the better room at check-in so I assume it is even easier to get your second reservation added to the first...with the upgrade.

I would suggest contacting the people who sent you the offer for the Tower Deluxe room, if they are MLife or the Mirage. Point out that you have already booked a paid reservation, and would like to combine that with your offer. I don't know if they will upgrade your paid reservation immediately, but I don't think it hurts at all to ask.

(P.S. - English is fantastic - I think I understood and if not, it's because of the beer I just had...not your post.)

I second the advice of Bruinfan of calling and let them know you're already coming in a few days early booked in a regular room and could they make the entire 5 nights in the TD. But the difference being, if you have some play there (and I assume you do because you got the marketing offer), I'd call the slot club instead of marketing and ask to speak to a host and explain to that person what your situation is. The host has much more leeway than the marketing dept, which basically has none. Marketing can only offer what's on the special. A host can give what they call a discretionary comp. If that doesn't work, try to get upgraded at check-in w/ $20 or even $50 and if that doesn't work, I'd highly recommend paying the difference for the room. These rooms are only on 2 floors and have their own private elevators and the bathrooms are the big plus. 2 sinks versus one and a nice big shower stall instead of the tub/shower combo in the Deluxe Room.

    Good luck! Dino
