Question about Minus 5. We have been to the one in Monte Carlo. We are coming to Vegas in June with a couple who hasn't been to either of them. We really don't want to go back to the Monte Carlo one unless there have been changes since 2011 and thought about trying the one at Mandalay Bay. What is that one like? What are all of your opinions?

Here's my review from when I went in 2009. I doubt much has changed. Just scroll through to about half way through the page:

The pictures don't really do it justice. It's pretty small.

Thanks for the information! We didn't even bring our camera in when we went to the Monte Carlo one because it said "no pictures". Did you use your phone or a camera. How did you get it in -- just carry it? Would love to take pictures.

I do hear that the Monte Carlo one is bigger because it is on the bottom floor and so it can be heavier.

Would be curious to hear if anyone has gone to both and what the feedback is.

    Thanks again.

I just took in the camera with me. I believe their website says no cameras, but most of what their site said was total BS. After the first few pictures, we were more comfortable, and just started snapping things left and right.

They didn't seem to care, and all the other "rules" (limited stay, limited # of drinks, etc) were all total BS as well.

MB's Minus 5 is much smaller than Monte Carlo's.

That is what I have heard so that is why I was wondering if it was worth going to that one or just return to Monte Carlo. Has the Monte Carlo one changed in the last couple of years? If you have been to both let me know what I should do. Thanks!!!

There are usually girls standing out in front of Diablos handing out drink coupons for Minus 5 in Monte Carlo.

There are usually people on the casino floor at Mandalay doing the same, for both Minus 5 and Foundation Room.

I wouldn't bother with MB's M5. Minus 5 is already a novelty "bar". Going to one that is the lesser one is a waste imo.

We actually stayed in Minus 5 for a bit and was chitchatting with folks in the room to the room for awhile.
