So I did a whirlwind of a trip last weekend and I'll review some highlights. It was a weekend full of surprises and favorites and I will share with you about some of the fun things I did. I had a really nice room at the Mirage, and I enjoyed it so much! I do wish the property had more dining options, but I did enjoy a good burger from BLT and a cool drink with dry ice at Stack. The hot rock steak app was fun at Stack as well. I wish I would've packed a dress so I could've gone somewhere a little nicer, but I knew it was a short trip. I also tried out Javier's at Aria. I have to say, I thought it was pretty great. I thought the margaritas were even better. I wish I would've had one more! I know a lot of people have been underwhelmed, but it was a nice lunch spot for the day. I did really lousy gambling, and because of that I decided to go see Love. It was my first Cirque show, and I thought it was pretty cool. I'm not sure how I'd have felt if I didn't know all the music. But I did enjoy it a whole lot and I was glad I stepped away from the casino to do that. The mirage spa was okay, but I would return if I could see the amazing massage therapist I saw for my deep tissue massage. WOW. I didn't know my back could make so many noises. I also got to visit my pal UKFanatic and FINALLY meet the awesome Natedogg and his chum Dr. J. These guys are hilarious and the milkshakes were a top notch call, Nate! I did some shopping (hey, I am a girl) and I found a few things, but I didn't really need the sales clerk to share with me she couldn't wear cotton panties because she gets yeast infections. How am I supposed to respond to that? I just said "Oh....that's interesting!" 45 hours just really isn't enough time to get in the comfy Vegas groove, and I had some really hideous flights, so I set myself up for failure. The excessive day drinking also had me upstairs on the couch for several hours. I also would pay money so I didn't have to be at the airport at 4AM next time either. I think my minimum is 48 hours!
