We are staying at Mandalay Bay. We will want to stop for beer, vodka and a few snacks for the room.
Does the place across the street from MB sell liquor?
If not, where would be the best place to have the taxi driver stop on way from the airport?

No liquor there, just beer. Our driver stopped in a little plaza off Tropicana. He said thats where all the limo guys stop because they give them free soda and ice. haha. It is a good spot, prices really reasonable for LV.

Can't you buy liquor at the airport. I've never done it since I just wait for the drinks at the casino when I gamble, but I am pretty sure there is a liquor store at the airport next to baggage claim

I have read reports that the pricing is 20% to 40% above normal liquor store pricing. I also read the rent they pay for their space is astronomical.

Good reason to avoid! The only time I have stepped foot in there was a couple years ago when they were giving out free vodka samples while some friends and I waited for bags

I highly recommend just getting delivery from vonns to your hotel if you're getting a decent amount and don't have a car. Super convenient and prices are about as low as you're going to find...

There is a liquor store/mini mart close to MB. Go out the Four Season exit and head south on las vegas blvd. Cross the street at the next crosswalk and there it is by a McDonalds.
