Do any strip casinos offer bottled beer (free to players) that is not your typical domestic variety? Maybe some microbrews/other?

True microbrews on the Strip? Not so much that I've seen. You can get things like Blue Moon, Sam Adams....

There are lots of previous posts about beers on the casino floor (search is in the upper right menu bar):peace:

Cosmo had Fat Tire for a while (don't know if they still do).
Most places will bring a Sam Adams for you if you ask specifically for it.
A number of places have Newcastle Brown.

While Fat Tire and Newky aren't microbrews, I've gotten both in bottles a bunch of different places on the strip from time to time, but it's absolutely hit and miss even at the same properties. For example, tried to order a Fat Tire over labor day at the MC and they told me that Sam Adams was their amber they were serving right now.

I've never seen any microbrews on the strip. Years ago MC would bring you stuff from their microbrewery but they got rid of it.

They replaced it with the "Pub"which does have a great variety of stuff on tap. It's not at the tables but it's worth visiting for the selection.

None of these places are on the strip, but MSS downtown, Barleys (Henderson) and Eliis Island will serve you on site brewed draft beer.

I posted that question on Bellagio's Facebook page about Sam Adams Octoberfest, and they said if you request it well ahead of time, they could possibly have it.

They will bring you beers from the pub on tap if you're in the high limit room. At least they did one time that I am sure of.

I am rarely in that area but hope to be on my next trip. I will remember this fact for sure. They do have a ton of great beer on tap

It was just once, I was alone in the HL room and had been playing 2 hours, tipping well because I was up. I had been drinking a couple Woodfords, and wanted to switch to beer. The pit boss was hanging out at the table and we were chatting it up -- I was pretending not to know the correct play on a few hands and he was giving me the right answers. I asked him if they had Sierra Nevada, and he called and ordered it up. When the waitress came, I mentioned something about being impressed they had Sierra Nevada on tap. She said she got it from the Pub.

So I don't know if it's normal or if I was just having a good day. Seems like it would be way out of her way to get it from there. But I have different kinds of drafts in there regularly.

I can't speak for now, but I was there shortly after the Monte Carlo Pub was replaced for the college football BCS title game. Replacement Pub is the first Vegas place I didn't leave a tip, the service was so bad. Don't know anything about their beers going table-service for gamers.

You might be able to get good beer at MC, but I don't know about MicroBrews. Does Sierra Nevada fit the bill? Or Sam Adams? Or Newcastle? Most casinos have at least one.

Someone mentioned Main Street Station. It's downtown. They have a true Microbrewery, and you can order beers from there on the casino floor. The food at the Brewpub itself is OK, and the game atmosphere was, well, empty, when I was there. But it was fine. They do serve the same beers on the casino floor. And you can get them at any bar (I think they charge a quarter or a dollar or something at the bars ... very cheap).

You know for all my trips to MC, I've never actually been in the pub except one time, and we were just drinking beer with a big group. So I'll defer to your experience.

I don't consider Sierra Nevada a microbrew (but it will do in a pinch). I just figured if I could get that on tap at the tables, I could probably gotten another of their tap beers just as easily.
