I see MGM has Tower King rooms and Grand King Rooms. Besides the price, what have you found to be different? Where are elevators for both towers? Do you prefer one tower over the other?

    Thanks in advance!

Same room, different name. Tower King is the old name, Grand King is the new name.

All the rooms are the same, in the Grand Tower.. there is one elevator it's right next to registration when you enter the casino. If you book a standard Grand King room that is where you will end up. I don't think you can book a "tower king?" like Chuck said, that was the old name.

Just don't get a west wing room, that is separate tower and those have not been remodeled.

Thanks, Chuck and Heather! Yes, I went back and checked my mistake. I meant to ask the difference between Grand Tower and West Wing. You've answered my question.

    Thanks!

Is a West Wing room what you get as a MyVegas comp?

Yea, the west wings are REALLY far away, and they are like 300 sqft and not remodeled.. I'd stay away. For free, it's probably ok... but if you could pick another free one like MB or Mirage I'd do that instead.

There is very high chance you could upgrade since they have so many more Grand rooms though...

Avoid staying in the West Wing.

we had a west wing room on myVEGAS reward.. tiny room... long walk, no tub, no real door on bathroom... no privacy to speak of. No good for 2 people. Tiny window with a view of nothing. No counter space, 1 small closet. King bed pretty much takes up the room. Long long walks in dark dreary hallways to get there. 10-15 walk to the pool. 10 minutes to the casino. I have never had a worse room in all of the Vegas and will never stay there again!! Avoid the West Wing if at all possible.
