I've never stayed there, only at Vdara (because Vdara also has washer and dryer units for almost the same $$$)

Vdara is way closer to everything central to the strip, Sig suites are set back from MGM Grand basically at the start of the strip

There are several threads regarding MGM Signature. Do a search and you will find plenty.

never stayed at the signature, but from what I read in the past it is about a 10 minute walk to get to mgm by the pool. Then figure another 5-10 minutes from where the pool is to the strip. So I'm gonna go ahead and say Vdara wins that. Plus the property is much older so it loses a few points there too.

I think it depends on what you're looking to do while on your trip. We've stayed at the Signature three times and really enjoyed the size and layout of the room. If you really want to take it up a notch book a one-bedroom as opposed to the Junior one-bedroom. With Vdara the rooms are very nice and the location is great for the Aria and the Bellagio.

Each property has it's strengths. I don't think you'll go wrong with either hotel.
