Does anyone know if the May/Pac casino chips are being played with yet?
If yes does anyone have any pictures of the chips?
Also the different denominations of what the chips will be.

And are you allowed to not colour up the chips and just take a bunch of reds and whites with you?

    Thanks

Yes, you can take the souvenir chips with you. I have never seen these in $1 denominations, but have seen in $5, $25, $100 chips.

FYI coloring up is a courtesy that you may or may not choose extend to the dealer/casino. When you buy chips, they are yours to do with what you want. You can always take your chips with you in any form you choose.

    Sorry.

They don't make those special for the events.

    But they are sexy!

I never understood those that refused to color up, especially when your going to another table (in my casino, its mostly asians that table jump). I know, its not the players problem but it causes a huge issues for the dealer and floor boss, especially when one table is low on chips and you go to a table that has no room for your chips. Iv had to turn players away and ask them to color up because I had no room for their chips in my tray, of course the argument is "you don't need the room, Im going to win" and well," please color up over there and come back and win my chips".

In reality, no matter what you do, the casino prefers you NOT to take the chips to the cage. A chip cost about $.35 to make so if you don't cash out, well, the casino enjoys your money.

I have no idea if your $.35 number is right, but have no reason to think it isn't. But I would think the only reason the casino has the special chips made is because they WANT people to take them. As you said, free money for them.

The number I am coming up with is what our casino manager told us our chips cost to make, I do not know if it is the same for other casinos, I should have put that out there .

Yeah, we want you to take the chips, lose them or what not. True story, we had a guy leave with 100k in Grey chips ($5000 each) and he had them in a bag in his car, he was cleaning the car out and threw the bag away and kept a bag that had some old food in it. He figured it out after the trash and been picked up and he came to us wanting those chips replaced. Obviously that did not happen, but anyone want to come to Ohio and start digging in a landfill you might find 100k in chips.
