So I found a good deal on a stay this November at MGM Grand after looking at my Mlife account. I have no accrued points or anything (guess they go away after a while?) but I have been signed up for a couple years now and have been going to Vegas about once a year. I'm guessing this was some generic promotion but it was way less than without logging into my Mlife.

So I booked a 5 night stay this November but when I did so I was surprised that it didn't require a deposit. I'm used to providing a 1 night stay on my room to hold it, and without needing to make that kinda makes me worried I did something incorrectly. Do you usually not need a deposit when booking through Mlife?

    Thanks!

I believe if first night is a comp they don't require a deposit. when I booked for last October the first three nights were comped, so no deposit.

Nothing is comped. I just got a good deal on the room. I did get a confirmation # and email. It just seemed weird to not need to make a deposit.

Sometimes they just take your credit card details so if you cancelled inside the 3 day limit they would charge you but not 100% on this.
