I've been to vegas about 10 times and stayed exclusively at CET properties. Last march I gambled at Monte Carlo and Aria and liked those places and decided to book a room at MC next month. Since then, MC has apparently downgraded their black jack. I'm not a high roller but I play some $25/hand black jack and wanted to do that at a place with decent rules. If I don't gamble much at MC but gamble at Aria and Mirage, would not gambling at the place I'm staying hurt me? I knew CET didn't care but don't know about MGM. Thanks for any help.

From what I have read on here MLife properties are very property-centric. To get back ends or future offers they really want to see play at that particular property.

If you want to hit Aria and Mirage I'd probably book a room there.

Thanks for the reply. I looked to switch after news of the new black jack rules came out but I'm there the same time as the iHeart radio concerts and the rates are more than double what I currently have booked at MC.

In your case, it shouldn't hurt you at all, because you probably don't want to stay at MC again. Concentrate your play at Aria and see what happens. Your Aria offers may not end up being as good as your MC offers, but that's to be expected. You should still be eligible to have stuff comped on the back end at MC if you play enough.

Yeah I am there that same time too...I am not going for the festival but I wondered why rates at Aria and Mirage were so high when I was booking my trip and that made sense.

You can still focus the play on those two properties with hopes that you'll be noticed and receive offers for the future.

    Good luck!

I don't think that is correct. At least for non-host offers and OP doesn't get host offers at $25 blackjack. UKFanatic recently posted on this topic and my recent experience matched it. On my last trip early August I stayed at Monte Carlo for three nights on non-comp and split my play about 15% Monte Carlo, 85% Aria. At the end of my trip I got my 3 nights plus resort fees comped.

Appreciate everyone's answers. Yeah, I'm no where near host level and my offer is a mlife corporate one that came with just a small amount of free play. I know my play won't even register as a blip on Arias radar but I like that casino and am angling to maybe get a discount to stay there in march. I'll stay at MC, play at a Aria and see what happens. This may be a solo trip so maybe I'll keep better records of my gambling and let you guys know what my experience was.

What is your concern about the blackjack? As of last month, there was plenty of decent rules $25 bj available there

There have been reports from people visiting MC recently (within the last week) that all BJ there not in the high limit room is 6:5 now.
