Headed to MGM this weekend. Had trip booked long before change to 6/5. Anyone played recently at night on the 3/2 tables? I'm assuming 50$ minimum but that might be wishful thinking.

    Thanks

yes 3 tables 1 dd , dd is always 2 twice the miunim of 6 deck so usualy 50$ and up , but mostly 100$ ps they dont open till noon. was playing in there all week got killed

ps mgm wants double your bet if ur playing 2 hands up to 100$ , so if table minium is 25$ you must play 50$ per hand for both hands

I've always been able to play 2 hands at $25 (or table minimum if it's higher) unless the pit boss asked me to allow someone else to play. Is this a recent change?

That's always been the same for me, too. At 6D shoe games I can play two hands for table min. But at the DD games, they ask for 2x min bet. Once I was the only one playing and I put a second bet out at table minimum ($50 I think) and the dealer said something, but the pit boss OKed it. I was the only one around, but they said if someone else sat down I'd have to follow the 2x minimum bet rule for two hands.

When I was there in July it was $50 min to get 3:2 on the main floor early on Sat night and it wasn't too busy at the time.

Had no problem getting 3:2 blackjack at Aria on a Friday night for $50 (I didn't see any $25 tables but didn't look too hard), I'd be shocked if MGM was higher than that.
