Carlos and Charlie at Flamingo. I'm no expert on Mexican food but I liked it C&C.

Tequila Taqueria at Bally's is OK too, but it's all just run of the mill chain Mexican restaurant food. Not what you asked, but Las Vegas has great Mexican food, pretty much pick a place and it will be better than CET Mexican places. There are better places, but I would probably recommend Lindo Michoacan as a good starting point.

Tried TT at Bally's...best I can say is it is better than Chipolte (that is not a compliment). To top it off, I wanted to pay with TW points and the waitress said they don't take it unless I want to use double the number of points for the bill. I won't be going back.

There is also a Border Grill in Forum Shops, though I never went to that 1.

Border Grill brunch is just awesome!

I thought Chayo at LINQ was pretty decent. Unfortunately I'm yet to find Mexican in vegas I'm really impressed with.

Well we do like Yolo's at PH, pretty good. There is a place in the M Mile across from where the fab four do their show La Salsa I think and it's ok, Another place down in the forum shops. It's La Salsa Cantina and it's better then La Salsa in the M Mile.

I liked this place as well. But, the time I went there the service was beyond bad (slow).

We ate at TT'S in November and I was not impressed--food was okay but nothing special at all and I thought the prices were on the high side.
They also charge for chips and salsa which I think is rediculous--would not eat there again

Charging for chips and salsa at a Mexican place should be outlawed.

Agreed, the place in Grand Canal does this. I wasn't that impressed with it, although I guess the food was good...it was too "chef-y"/"gourmet" for Mexican for me.

I don't recall paying for chips and salsa at Chayo, at the same time I was hammered, and it was the strip, so maybe I did and just don't remember.

There's real Mexican and there's Tex-Mex. They are not the same. You will find some real good Mexican food off strip. As for the strip you'll have to settle for touristy Tex-Mex joints. There might be a few exceptions.
