We're being graced with a visit by a former/sometime VMBer!!! We're teeing it up, we'll show him around the central coast, hit a few wineries in the ghetto, run over to Figueroa Mountain and Firestone and fill a few growlers for a BBQ bash here on Sunday.

My husband has to work a music festival on Saturday, I'll spend that day running errands, finishing laundry, pedicure, etc, and then Sunday is our anniversary and we leave that afternoon for Vegas. Tuesday is his Bday so the celebration will continue, then home Wednesday evening.

Darnit. Is that happening again? I guess Dan's going to be in my way on Monday as we have no plans at all. I hope to be working. I know... it's a sickness.

Hopefully nice enough to get some beach time. I live a 5 minute walk from Chesapeake Bay. Fishin'. Break out the grill for my signature chicken thighs. Drink copious amounts of Coors Banquet beer.

I'm going to music festival that a lot of people would also refer to as a rave. It's three days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It's called Audio on the Bay and is new this year. It's put on by the same organizers as EDC - Insomniac. Time to rage!

What else, but spending some time gambling. Got a room booked for Saturday & Sunday at our favorite local casino, ok, about 70 miles away. Perhaps spend some daytime hours doing cemetery stuff and stopping at a friends place at the lake to have a few adult beverages  :drunk:

Guess if I can't be in Vegas, I will be hanging out locally :drunk: :drunk:

Well, I'm away all week so I'm guessing I'll catch up on laundry and weeding in the garden:evillaugh My husband (being self-employed) might work on Monday but I don't know.

We have some pallets to burn so we'll probably have some bonfires in our fire pit, weather permitting:peace:

Hmm, Well Friday I am working and then going to the bank to cash my Federal & State income tax returns, Saturday I'm cleaning up the yard, taking the pup for a walk, finish packing, going to the grocery store as son has requested "frozen pizzas, chips and dips, and mountain dew" for dog sitting. Sunday I've vowed to work from 7am to 1pm in the office to help pass that day before a trip time stall, and then MONDAY AT 4 am I have to get up and head to the airport as my flight leaves from Milwaukee at 7:20 am and by 9:15 VEGAS TIME I WILL BE IN VEGASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

We always begin with a local Memorial Day service honoring our lost Vets (lost uncle in Korea and several friends in Viet Nam). Then to our local poker game host for a pitch-in cookout and poker game. We usually have 35-50 players with 4-5 tables. It is a great, fun game. After than, must go to our local CET riverboat for the 7 Star/Diamond gift giveaway - this time it is a Swarovski Crystal charm bracelet. It will be a full day!! We also will be spending time with our special little 3 yr old great-grandson.....Should be a great weekend. Hope everyone has a good holiday!!

Yesterday was my daughter's birthday, so I will be barbecuing at the park on Sunday to celebrate. Other than that, just a nice relaxing weekend plus ribs and beer.

I'll be getting ready for my Vegas trip the following weekend. We usually go on Sunday I like to have everything ready ahead of time so on the Saturday before we leave I can just focus on the important things, like getting that manicure and pedicure :)

Have a great holiday weekend everyone!!!
