Ok so I've only been to Vegas for midweek trips, and somehow this time around I'm booked over Memorial Day weekend which from a cursory look on the internets says the town will be amped up, any thoughts specifically downtown? I'm in on the 26 and leave the 30th at 11:55pm, what should I prepare for in terms of crowds downtown?

Crowds Downtown - will be while the bands are performing.
Mornings and after midnite - things will "thin out".
Memorial weekend - like any holiday in Vegas - attracts bigger crowds.
The Strip will be where it's over crowded.
Downtown will be fine -- liven the place up !

I'm always in LV for Memorial Day. It's big, but not over the top like NYE. The increased numbers give The Strip and Downtown a good vibe.

As with any holiday weekend, ensure you get dinner reservations for the decent restaurants.
