I recently called a host and asked my ADT at CET and she gave me something called MDV. She said my home property was Horseshoe Bossier City and my MDV is 967 and at Lake Tahoe - it is like 846.

My ADT at Las Vegas used to be about 485 and I wonder if that is also what my MDV is?

I guess my question is = what is the difference between MDV and ADT?

I posted in your other thread...
MDV = Market Daily Value (Your ADT for that specific market, basically)
ADT = Average Daily Theo (Your daily "worth" to the casino; ie: how much they can expect to make off of you per day)

If your ADT in Vegas was $485, then it would also be your Las Vegas MDV (Las Vegas is a market onto itself)
While you said your other MDV's were mid 900's and mid 800's...

But IIRC you're 7*...so your ADT and MDV's HAVE to be much higher than $500...

MDV and ADT are essentially the same thing. In Vegas they call it MDV, and for single market properties it's call ADT.

I think that there a lot of 7 Star players that don't have a particularly high ADT. There are frequency players in local markets. Lots play relatively small, but often to obtain 7 Stars. Not all 7 Stars are created equally.

I should correct myself, you're right...for people who are local to a property such as Harrahs So-Cal, they could have a low ADT, just go FREQUENTLY...
    Let's do the math though...
    Let's say they go like a job, 5 days a week (mon-fri), that's 260 days a year
They'd need to earn 500 TC per day (Get a 125 point "bonus" per day)
This would have a minimum slot play through of $2500 per day.
    $2500 x 7% theo (I'll assume 7% for a theo set on a penny slot) = $175 ADT
This is if they go EVERY weekday.

You can earn a lot of points on Video poker if you try and have a low ADT.
Also if you are close enough to travel weekly (52 days a year) to a casino you could easily have the same ADT as a low level diamond Player who only goes to casinos like 10-15 days a year

OK, if you go once a week, you'd still need to play pretty big and have a decent ADT (decent ADT = $300+)
IE: $10k coin-in on slots once per week (or $20k on video poker)

In the BEST CASE scenario, CET knows they can expect to earn $15k off of you per year, worst case they expect to earn $1500.

I was thinking that if they go approximately 6 (6.25) times per months and play to 1000 tier credits......they get the daily bonus of 1000 credits. 1000 tier credits per day wouldn't be that difficult..... and you wouldn't have that big an ADT.

I agree, in no way is any 7* going to be the type of player who goes to the casino with $100 to spend. (local or not).
I am just saying that Many Diamond players have higher ADT's then some 7* simply because of how often they play.
Altho the same can be said about Platinum players Vs. Diamond players.

but I think we are both stating the same point :)

Not to beat a dead horse..but if you were getting 1000 TC in a day, if you played slots, that's a ADT of $350...a host will be interested in you at $300+...video poker probably half that, but double the coin-in...

It's not a matter of having a host or not. My point was that not all 7 Stars are created equally. An ADT of 300 or 350 is still pretty small(to a host). Just by having 7 Star status, doesn't necessarily mean you're a big player.

I only go to Vegas twice a year and never do very good on slots. I may grind out 1000 TC's (one or two days probably less) but usually spend more time walking, shows, etc while in Vegas instead of gaming.

My home property - I go about once a month for two nights and usually get one night of 2500TC's plus bonus.

Thank you for your answer in this thread and the other one too TIMSPEED!!

That does make sense because Tahoe has two properties and so does Bossier City. Thanks!

Caesars host told me you need $800 ADT to have an assigned host there.

That is probably why I don't have a host at Las Vegas CET. Even though I am 7 star - I have an inside casino host that works inside Planet Hollywood. He is very efficient though.

I think 800 is the magic number for lots of CET properties. I was told that even as a 7 star you must have a 800 MDV at Tahoe to get limo transportation from Reno airport to Tahoe.

Good God! If they're ALREADY flying you in...the LEAST they could do is limo ya...although, I'd MUCH rather have a car in Tahoe!

I've had junket offers to Tahoe that include air, transportation to the hotel(usually via bus), and hotel. Is Kankan talking about Tahoe for a seven stars retreat?......where limo transportation is provided. I don't think there was any mention of Caesars paying for the flight to Reno.

True..in that case, if you just fly in on your own, yes, it is a BIG cost to get limo from Reno -> Tahoe (Hell, just riding the damn Blue Go bus down is like $35 one-way)
