Do they have separate check ins? Are they far apart? Can you check in at Delano at MBay? Or vice versa? Staying with a friend and we're in these hotels. Just wondering if we need to take separate cabs to check in at each one!

They do have separate check-ins and I'm not entirely sure if you can check in at the opposing hotel. I've heard of people staying at MB and getting upgraded to the Delano at check-in. The two check-ins are maybe a 5 minute walk. No escalators or stairs, so wheeling your suit case behind you would be easy. Here's a map to check out: http://mandalaybay.com/downloads/maps/Casino-Map.pdf

You could take separate cabs and be dropped off much closer to your corresponding registration desks/elevator bank but as already mentioned it's a short walk to either. Probably better to ride one cab and ask for Mandalay Bay, should be a little cheaper than driving around back to the Delano drop off.

Just take the cab to MB with your friend. The checkin for delano is by sports book. The walk is not far at all.

Both checkings are interchangable. Ive checked in at mandalay bay and ended up in Delano (before it opened) and checked in at delano for mandalay after one of their employees told me i could check into mandalay at their desk (ended up getting upgraded that time too to delano)

Great, thanks for the info. We'll try checking in at one place first.
