Has anyone used their Marriott points for room at Cosmopolitan? Can you specify the room type?
If you don't get an answer here, try the Marriott/Cosmo forum at FlyerTalk:
You can use your Marriot points as if you would any other Marriot.
You may also opt to obtain Marriot points vs Cosmo Identity points for
your stay. You cannot double dip, one of the other.
Through Cosmopolitan or Marriott
Do you get to specify your room type if you use points? Is it best to book through Marriott or the Cosmopolitan?
If you go to the Marriott site and check the box for points, you will see they offer different rooms . The better the room the more points it cost you. I looked and it listed a City room, terrace studio, terrace 1 bdrm, and terrace suite. The better the room the more points it will cost you.
Wow this blows. You cannot obtain even get the nights to count towards tier status with Marriott even if you would rather get the Identity points? Has anyone gotten the nights to count toward Marriott Rewards tier and gotten the Identity points also?
Marriott's rewards program is worthless anyway...
As I said, you can't double dip. Starwood here baby!
Wow pretty lame. Some people on Flyertalk say you can just fax in your folio after check out but claim the Identity points while at the hotel
Maybe that could work. I wish there was a real Starwood prop in vegas.
Praying SLS will come thru
