    Trips to Las Vegas:

    My Trip Report

First off I have been to this Casino a few times its the closest one to my house makes a good one nighter and I have always done OK there. Last year I hit a royal on VP that paid 4g's. This time not so much....Started out with 7 deck $5 3:2 BJ Tables (they have some good rules on BJ) and my First 100 went quick licked my wounds and tried another 100 on VP, Nothing again. Went to the bar and hung out with some friends and we decided to give craps a try. The craps table was hot, hit a 10 with full odds and $10 on a hard 10, then hit a 6 with full odds and $10 on a hard 6. We played it out for a while and hit a few more good ones and I cashed with $325 to the good, I was happy to recover and we went and ate, great spread for dinner Crab Legs and Prime Rib were awesome. I helped feed the dogs with a small donation $20 to sparky and company. The rest of the night was a total drag, I didn't hit one damn thing worth talking about and I cut my losses at midnight and hit the sack. Got up early the next morning and dropped even more on the Black Jack Tables, all in all down about $350 which aint to bad cause I have seen worse....... Hey we had fun don't get me wrong but losing puts a bad taste in my mouth...Urggggggg.

Darn local casinos! Even when the gaming isn't going well, at least my local has good prime rib too!
Thanks for sharing your trip, Casinobum!

    Thanks for the write up.

I used to get out that way a few times a year back when I did a fair amount of business in that neck of the woods.

Glad to hear they still have decent BJ. Sorry you had such lousy luck on them though.

As far as locals go, Mardi Gras isn't bad. Great black jack rules and generous comps. Slot selection is awful though. I head there a couple times a month to get my match play and practice for Vegas.
