I know this is a way out, but I'm planning a St Paddy's Day / March Madness trip. Where do you all think is the best place to watch the games? Thanks in advance!

Mirage, Aria, and Lagasse at Palazzo are all good places IMO.

Sports books will be packed. You need to get there super early. resteraunt type places will have high minimums per hour or a flat fee with a buffet. I liked the Westgate, they have a nice setup in there theater with games on the big screen. It's a good time.

I agree with Wisky. Best week of the year in Vegas (or anywhere else) Ditto for the March madness group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/mmilv/). I would also offer this. The farther away you are from the strip, the better choice of seats in sports books. Ie Green Valley ranch, red Rock, Sante Fe sports books are huge and there is plenty space to be had when you arrive ( no need for a 6 a.m. arrival to hold a seat). Plus drinks tickets are easier to score (IMHO). Avoid the gimmicks as you will see/read where others have been burned by some "all you can eat and drink" promos with "limited seats so get yours quick" type deals. There are plenty places in Vegas to watch the games, grab a brew and gamble! However if you give CET any play at all Im pretty sure that you will get invited to their "Hoops on the strip" parties. I did Planet Hollywood this year and the Flamingo last year. 2 different set ups, however I like Flamingos the best!

Hey Kelly, tried to PM you but I don't think it went through. Someone named Artie already added me. Thanks for the offer! I'm going with my niece's husband and we're really excited about it, but clueless on the MM thing!

I agree with others. BEST week of the year in Vegas!! The March Madness in Las Vegas Facebook group is great! Barry does an excellent job with it. Westgate is a great place to watch games, but personally I like walking around to different locations to check out the games and the action. I would also recommend downloading the CG technologies app or William Hill app for betting. The betting lines at the Sportsbooks are ridiculous.
