Just got the Boulevard Pool Cabana quotes back. Poolside cabanas $1750-$2000 FB minimum. Upper Cabanas $1250-$1500.

Daybeds $100-$500 depending on day and location.

Not sure if it's demand bases since cabanas were cheaper Saturday but daybeds were more expensive :/

Either way $1750 FB minimum for a poolside on Friday seems like a good deal.

Hey wrobinson32 did they give you a different rate for Saturday? This is usually the day we do the pool. Do you have a contact person?

TAP Sports Bar at MGM is a good spot to watch games. I would look into locking something down for there...its right across from the sportsbook there...perfect location. It was new last year, so their planning and organization was a little off, don't think they were expecting such crowds...but I hope they are going to resolve that this year.

Got rooms sorted out doing a wrap around terrace for main room. Have 3 day passes to hoops/hops but expect we'll do it first day then bounce around on the third day. Trying Cabana on Friday as well, at least that will pull us away from the tables for a bit. Most of the group is more comfortable at $5 tables so we'll probably spend quite bit of time taxing over to the gold Coast.

Any recommendations for viewing parties folks? Three friends and myself will be there for the Thursday and Friday games. We are thinking about booking a viewing party for 1 day, and then rolling with one of the free viewingparties (TI or Westgate) or rolling down super early to a sports book.

Whoa! Even the week before March Madness is a busy one and has pushed prices and availability WAY up... three-(3) conferences (MWC, PAC-12 and WCC) are having their tournaments in town, as well a three-(3) conventions over at the convention center.

So my group doesn't want to do a pay viewing party this year and we're not doing TAP. My question is what's your opinion, if any, on the best free party to go to?

The D, Treasure Island, or South Point?

Does anyone know if/how many tier credits ceasers awards for sports bets?

Since Cantor runs cosmos sports book I figure I'll place my wagers elsewhere when time allows.

How big is your group? And do you plan on arriving early? The setup at TI is great, but it's banquet style seating with round tables (1st come, 1st serve). I like the Westgate theater as well. Both would be excellent "free" parties, but you need to get there very early to get a seat, especially if you have a bigger group.

Tropicana Marketing Director called me today. They finally made plans for a viewing party.

    Tropicana Lounge
    Thursday - Sunday
Free Entry. No Reservations. First come first serve.
    $25 buckets
    $5 draft beers
    Multiple cocktail and shot specials
    Variety of food specials.
Lots of tables and bar stools.
    More than enough TVs.

I am staying at MGM. Pretty sure I'm heading over there on Saturday and/or Sunday.
