We have three comped rooms a Mandalay Bay or two comped at the Delano. We chose the three nights at Mandalay because the guy told us we could upgrade when we arrived and likely get three nights at Delano. We won't be arriving until after midnight on a Friday. Will this make it harder to get an upgrade being that most rooms will most certainly be full on a Friday night? We are also bringing another couple along and booked them at the golden nugget where I had three free night. I tried to get two comped rooms and was told they could maybe do it if we ask upon our arrival. What are my chances of getting two rooms? We are arriving jan 15th weekend. Thanks

I'd call them that morning from where ever you are, and they can assess the room occupancy.

If they do end up staying on your comp, make sure they use your card while playing slots or VP lol.

I don't know that they will comp you 2 rooms ... but they will likely offer a discounted rate if they won't comp it.

Yes, go with the 3 nights at MB, you may get upgraded to Delano but hard to know late on a Friday. I guess that's why it's called "gambling"-- Good luck.. I almost always get my MB comp upgraded to Delano except last time and I arrived on a Thurs for 4 nights. They put me up in a comped MB newly remodeled Resort Suite, which was nice, but I still prefer the Delano suites!
