Is the shark reef worth the trip?
It is a neat thing to do once.
How long does it take to do?
It has been a couple of years since I did it, but I seem to recall it took about an hour.
It's worth doing. Wife and I did it and the Bodies last year. Good times.
Its an hour walk through? I heard it was like 10-15 minutes at most. Would be awesome if it was an hour.
I remember it being pretty short... Think I spent 1/2 hour or so there. If you have kids, you will probably spend more time. Would recommend the Titanic exhibit next door at Luxor!
One hour was about right for me, but i love animals it usually takes me 2-3 hours at the mirage secret garden
An hour is possible, I doubt you could spend much more inside. I would guess 30-40 minutes on average. If you are through in 15 minutes you are just walking though without really stopping and looking at anything.
I like these types of things so I thought it was worth seeing. If the price was cheaper I might even go see it again. But it's Vegas so it has to be twice as expensive as it needs to be.
Buy one, get one free with MyVegas is a decent deal for these.
You can take as much (or as little) time as you want. I took a bunch of 20 and 30 somethings to Shark Reef and they loved it. If you go during the week there's no lines and no one blocking views of exhibits. There's a nice "petting" area at the end the younger kids really liked. They can touch starfish, crabs and rays.
Yes it was worth it.
Two tickets free if you are mLife Platinum.
You can pay a little extra and do a shark or turtle feeding which the wife and I did. You get a tour of the facility, do the feeding, plus pictures taken. It was worth the extra money as far as we're concerned.
I did the shark feeding and it was awesome! Worth every penny.
If you get free tickets yes..it's worth it. Otherwise I was not impressed...only took like 20 minutes to go through the whole exhibit.
I am in this crowd. Cool, but limited.
