What is the vibe like there, especially on a Friday? Do you have get out there when it opens to get a seat? Is it worth renting a daybed?

It is a great pool and for that reason pretty busy. If you are solo you can find a spot. If you have a group a cabana is a smart move.

A trick that I always use is when I get there I ask the employees if people are allowed to save a lounge chair with just a towel. A lot of pool areas have a rule that you must use personal belongings to save a chair and a towel alone can not save a chair. If that's the case just find some chairs reserved by towels and throw the towels off. If people come back theres nothing they can do about it. The people who save chairs with towels are usually the people who get there in the morning, save a bunch of chairs and then return to the pool in the afternoon. Also most chairs that only have towels, the patrons have left for the day and were too lazy to throw their towels in the dirty laundry cart.
