We are doing a Girl's trip to LV in September and are trying to decide between these two rooms. Two of us have been to Vegas several times and the other two have never been. Typically when we go, we stay at MB, Mirage or Monte Carlo in a, regular Deluxe room that usually has a Mountain view. For anyone who has stayed at either of these two room types, would you recommend one over the other or are they both pretty equal in comparison (other than location wise for MB). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

I like that suite at MB. I have never stayed in that room at Mirage, though, so I cannot really compare. More broadly, I like the MB property much better than Mirage (better casino, less cramped, better pool, better restaurants). But MB is, as you note, at the end of the Strip. So if being closer to the center of activity is more important, Mirage is probably the choice. otherwise, I would go with MB

The University of Kentucky Fanatic...this kid knows what he's talking about.

That Panoramic at Mandalay has the option for the two queen beds in one of the rooms and the view is better. I'm sure it's even nicer now that they've renovated / updated the decor a bit, too.

I would personally choose The Mirage strictly on the location factor.

I've stayed in both and I like both, but if it's a choice between taking a tram to Excalibur and then having to walk to MGM for the Monorail (or just walk down to Center Strip), I'm choosing the Mirage because everything's pretty much there and the Monorail is right across the street at Harrah's.

I'm almost positive that Mirage room is larger by a couple hundred square feet, too. The living room area WAS nicer in the Mirage as well (but maybe the upgrades have improved the space at MB).

Plus, don't forget, a TV pops up at the foot of the bed in the master bedroom at Le Mirage. I mean, if that doesn't seal the deal, I don't know what would.

Good luck. I doubt either will disappoint you ladies.
