Already have 4 nites booked at NYNY for early Feb. Got MLife offer for 2 nites, $175 Freeplay, and $75 Resort Credit that I can use at either MB or Aria. Thinking of using and coming in a couple days early. Which would you pick and why?

    Thanks!

MaBay for me, because of the location. I find myself back on the strip after 10 years of off-strip properties (first seven years of my Vegas life, I stayed on-strip faithfully). And I enjoy the navigation ease and non-congestion of the far end south (Mabay) and far end north (Wynn/Encore).

Depends on what is important to you. I will give you my breakdown comparison of the properties:

Rooms: Neither are bad, but Aria has better furniture and I like the modern feel. ARIA

Dining: Again, both are good. But since Aria has my favorite restaurant on the Strip (Julian Serrano) I go with it. ARIA

Sportsbook: Aria has comfier seating. But MB is bigger. It also has a better set up for placing bets and cashing tickets. Plus it still uses the electronic board (as opposed to the Aria TV screens) which I prefer. Mandalay Bay

Spa: Aria hands down. My favorite on the Strip. ARIA

Casino: I like both. Ventilation is good at both places. Aria has the better HL rooms, which is where I spend most of my time. ARIA

Drink Service: Both are pretty consistent. PUSH

Pool: Aria is good. But MB has the wave pool, lazy river, and sand beach. MANDALAY BAY

Shows: Haven't seen Zarakana. But I liked the Jackson show. And MB sometimes brings in interesting musical acts. MANDALAY BAY

So overall, I give the edge to Aria. But I also stay at MB from time to time. You can't go wrong, but I would pick Aria because of the dining and spa

If going in Feb then I would say Aria. Pools don't matter. Location is so much better and so many more dinning spots close by with Bellagio/Monte Carlo/new Shake Shack/NY NY. I think the food spots at Aria are way overpriced but so much close by. Everything else is better at or near Aria. More options...

Aria for sure. Love the rooms, location, and restaurants on-property. Unless you're attending a conference at MB or just like the property, I'd go to Aria.

I just got back from a trip where we stayed at both the Delano and Aria. Aria is still my favorite. I prefer the gaming at Aria as well as the service. It's also closer to other casinos if you want to hop around. The Delano's new design is quite nice but it's more of a surface overlay. The bones of the hotel are much older and you can tell, flickering lights when you dim them, etc. Mandalay itself also shows its age and I've heard it's due for a refresh soon as well.
