Has anyone stayed in one before and what was it like? Saw a couple short youtube videos but was seeing if anyone actually liked it and what it could be compared to.

Stayed in one about 5 years ago. The youtube videos are your best source of information. I liked the bedroom section along with the huge (however, weirdly set-up) bathroom (long and narrow, instead of wider).

The living room area has a good sized table, along with a bar for serving guests. When you walked in, the guest 1/2 bath is on the left, and a longish hallway is what you are greeted with. My favorite section was the Media room - where the 65' tv with surround sound and plush seating (along with solid doors). It had some great acoustics, and I loved watching a game there with friends.

I stayed for 3 nights, and had a (quite comfortable) cot brought up for an extra guest for 2 of the nights.

I don't have much to compare it to, other than a Marquis Suite at NYNY - which was significantly smaller.

Less than $500/night - I'd consider it again.

Thnx for your reply. How would you compare it based off of a bellagio, mirage etc penthouse? I have an option to get a media suite with a king connector. Seems like the media suite is bigger but only has a tv above the bar area besides the media room. Still contemplating it.

I have stayed in a Media Suite as well. Sweet room, however the one I stated in was directly adjacent to the elevator shaft. Specifically, the bedroom wall - I could hear the elevators going up/down all night (mechanical / motion noises). Wasn't able to change rooms so don't know if the media suites are randomly scattered on the floors (vs. all positioned around the shafts).

The Mirage penthouse is strikingly similar to a Bellagio tower suite - both very nice - differences in decor, view but overall similar. With respect to layout, size, amenities (both with a gross bidet as well).

I must have been lucky - I never heard any elevator noises. But you are right, the Media Suites are all located in the 'middle' of the hotel; with floor to ceiling windows (about 10?) in that curved section of the hotel - so are close to the elevator regardless.

I've been in the NYNY Penthouse room (sorry, no Mirage/Bellagio), with two excellent patios to access on the top floor of the building. Beeejay gives a good description of this room from quite a few years ago (along with pictures, if I can remember).
