Don't know if it is loaded wrong, but I have a confirmation number.

    Excluding taxes and etc.

    9/14 for 1 night at MB-deluxe room=$75

MSS for 1 night is $80

Am I missing something? MSS may not have a resort fee, but still????

Just depends what's going on. Mandalay Bay's rates vary greatly based upon their convention business. $75 for a Sunday with nothing major coming in the next day sounds right.

Now, I called trying to get a room for a friend on September 26 and 27 when they have the big auto auction, UFC, and a large convention coming in---$750 a night on Gold rate. Glad my room is comped.

Host told me they've closed off rooms 9-29/10-1 except for comped because of the Global Gaming Expo. It's at the Sands, but I know that books the town.

I'm comped on Sept 27-30 there. Decided I want to extend by coming a day early, and saw those rates for the 26th. Holy cow. Decided to head to SLS for a night instead then come down to ManBay.

I'm glad I was able to get comped rooms at MGM Grand for 9/28-10/1. I did not know about the gaming expo. The other stuff I did.

Yea, literally Mandalay Bay is ALL conventions now. But if they don't have one, rates are pretty reasonable.

Also that $72 room? Plus tax and resort fee is $108...
