A man was shot on the Las Vegas Strip early Monday morning after someone started firing shots to break up a fight, police said.

Las Vegas police received reports of gunshots near Paris-Las Vegas just after 3 a.m. Two men were fighting near the hotel-casino when another man approached them and began shooting.

Rumors are the dispute was over the resort fee at the hotel

I was there when it happened, I was walking back to Aria I saw 2 people yelling, I quickly moved away, a moment after I passed them I heard a gunshot and me and several other people ducked and ran for cover. Scary few moments there, but I never felt unsafe so far

Whoa, glad you weren't hurt Publius. That's scary man. It's strange that a resort fee would cause another patron to shoot at another patron or was it collateral damage?

the fee was likely the cost of drugs or a hooker.

Is that included in the resort fee now? Will have to rethink my complaints about paying it!

Clearly we're not getting our money's worth from those fees!
