I saw that article and agree with one of the comments down below... hard to imagine this happening to a hotel connected to the Convention Center the way LVH is?

So long as it doesn't affect the sportsbook they can do as they please. The SuperBook is simply awesome.

I'm seriously considering entering the SuperContest this year. But I'm not sure I can make it out during the enrollment period.

I love that book. I always make a point to stop there for an afternoon or evening of NBA or MLB betting.

Since the Stardust closed, the LVH sportsbook is the one and only.

I'd find another property to double book as quickly as possible. Just do it direct with the property and verify their cancellation clause (most will be 72 hours). If there's no problem with LVH, you can keep the reservation and stay there. If your reservation gets cancelled, you don't want to be scrambling last minute to find a new hotel.

Last time I was there the Star Trek area was a ghost town! It looked like they were trying some kind of nightclub thing there but it did not look active.

Jeez, why would anybody buy a TS in the LVH, you can get rooms there for less than the BS fee they charge for updating/refurbing TS

This makes me sad, the LVH has been my home casino for many years. I love the Sportsbook and the good VP there.

My favorite book also - the Cuban sandwiches at the deli are awesome!!! I'll be sad if it's gone.

I called them and they said that they had no info, other than that current reservations through March 2015 will be honored.. he seemed annoyed that i was asking.
