I kept hearing the Met TV announcers mentioning
"He'll start the season in Las Vegas...."
    .
I wasn't paying much attention but just googled
the L V 51's to find out they are NOW NY Mets -
no longer Toronto 's AAA team.
    .
And I see the owner wants to build a sports complex
    near MBAY.
Easy there fella !....how many times have we heard about
    a new stadium being planned....?:rolleyes2:
I think Cashman Field is nice !:nworthy:
    .
Well, as I always take in a game at Cashman Field --
at least ,now, I'll know who the home team players are !

If I were a Mets fan that would be great. I wish you told me the LV Wranglers were the NY Islanders ECHL affiliate. Now that would be great.

Heading to the 51s' game on Sunday to see Wheeler pitch! Hopefully does better at home than his first two road starts.

the Jays got smart and partnered with the Buffalo Bisons for their AAA affiliate.
the logistics of having your farm team a 5.5 hour flight away were mind-boggling.

not to mention that playing at Cashman, in that league, made every hitter seem like a power hitter and every pitcher look terrible in comparison.
