I have booked a Pyramid Suite for our next visit (please don't recommend a change to a Tower Suite, the other half :nono: is set on the tub by the window for this trip!). Are Pyramid Suites available on all four sides of Luxor? And if so, which side has the best view? I am just deciding whether to contact them and request a particular view.

Don’t have any idea if the suites are located on all sides of the building. We stayed in one last December and it faced the rear of the building with a great view of the Interstate, although it was a high floor.

Anyway, even though I can’t answer your location question, you mentioned your room choice was because of the tub by the window, truly a Vegas touch. This was the reason for our room choice too.
We found the room to be quite unique and in hind sight the tub was just missing one thing, “bubbles”!

Because the tub is not a spa or a whirlpool type, we found it a bit lacking to just sit in a tub of clear water. We were only there for three nights that trip and found other things to do in Vegas besides sit in a tub, but thinking about it later, a bottle of wine/champagne along with some bubble bath would have made the tub under the stars a little more enjoyable. Just something you might want to consider.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think the purpose of this tub is not about “scrubbing up”, so some romantic touches would have helped set the mood. It’s too bad the Luxor doesn’t offer them in the room package, even if they were in the room and if you used them they would be added to your bill, like a mini bar.

As I said earlier, we were there in December and most likely won’t return. The room had no heat and nights and early mornings were chilly. With the cool room the bubbles would have also helped with shrinkage and done wonders to eliminate “hind-sight”. The Luxor is good, just if there is a next time, it will be in a Tower room.

Either way, have fun and enjoy Vegas!

If memory serves me right the Pyramid suites are only on the corners of the pyramid. I have only stayed in them twice and they are quite unique and as easytree has said the tub is just a tub. Take some bubbles it will make it more romantic. We didn't care for our view but I remember looking out seeing the Rio from the one we were in. When you walk up to look out the windows try not to bang your head as it's a slope! I always chuckle when I remember my mom of 5 foot nothing banged her head thinking she was to short to hit her head.

There is a store in the mall between Luxor and MB that sells hand made bath bombs, which provide scent and bubbles. Last two trips with the wife we bought one and very much enjoyed our bath and post-bath activities. Highly recommended for your tub by the window.

Go to the Buffet at lunch and eat 3 bowls of chili. By night time, Bubbles in the bath will just come naturally.
