We just got comped for two nice at a Luxor tower room and were thinking about canceling our current Bally's Jubilee Tower reservation to save some $$. Your thoughts?

Wife and I stayed in Jubilee Tower in december, and it was nice..I would think it would probably be the same quality as a Luxor Tower Room...the advantage to Bally's would be center-strip location (and the Jubilee elevator basically drops you down right at the entryway, on the strip)
I'd take Jubilee based on location factor..unless savings is more than $25 a night...

Savings is about $165 for the total stay. I have stayed at Luxor in the pyramid and wasn't impressed but thought we would give it another shot in the tower. We will be staying at the Linq for the second half of our trip an be able to take in that side of the strip then.

We recently stayed at the Luxor in the pyramid. One of three nights was comped. We had a free upgrade to the tower but my husband wanted to stay in the pyramid. I was surprised it was not bad. In fact I was very pleased. We have stayed in the tower before and I saw little difference in the two rooms. If all you need is a clean room and you want to save $165 I would stay at the Luxor. But the Bally's jubilee rooms are going to be nicer than the Luxor rooms. I have tried attaching some pics of our room. The bathroom was very nice but had just a shower no tub. The room we were in I found almost as nice as the tower room.

Thanks for the pics and feedback. We were really looking forward so Ballys but I think the Luxor will do just fine for the price. Maybe we'll do Ballys on our next trip.

We did this exact same thing last year. My Bally's COMP dried up and Luxor came through. I actually enjoyed the property, had no issues at all. Ask to be dropped off at the lower side entrance and you can avoid the long check in line in the lobby. We stayed once in a pyramid room, just to see what it was like and the next two trips we stayed in the tower rooms which are much nicer. We found everything we needed in the ole' Lux and I had my best VP poker run at the casino bar just in front of the check in desk. They serve great drinks and there is usually a couple spots open at the bar! Enjoy!
