I've never ate there. What other buffet would you compare it to?

We ate at More our last trip and were not impressed at all. As with anything, this is totally subjective, but we found the food mediocre at best. I would compare it to Dishes at TI. We weren't a fan of that one, either. Nobody got sick, but we've definitely had better food. We didn't get to try Bellagio or Wynn, but we actually had a good meal at the Monte Carlo buffet, which isn't exactly one of the highest rated around. Again, subjective. I would pass on Luxor if I had to do it again, though.

The food was average at best and the setting did not help...the buffet area is on a lower level from the casino floor....IMO, the buffet is comparable to the MGM buffet....if you are staying at Luxor and the buffet is comped, then go for it, otherwise, I might walk down to Mandalay Bay if you are in the area.

Very old info, like 2006 so keep that in mind. But, I ate there twice on a promo and I didn't die. At the time, I thought it was comparable to the Gold Coast. From reading boards and chatting with people, it doesn't sound like things have changed much. If it was convenient and free I would eat there again. I wouldn't go out of my way or pay for it.

Been there twice thanks to MyVegas and this is what it reminded me of:

Thanks all. I suspected that the buffet wasn't all that great. I never seen any mention of how great it was here on the board or anywhere else. I need to get one more BOGO via MyVegas buffet for next weekend and the Luxor was one available. The other 2 available possibilities at this moment is MGM and Monte Carlo. I already got one for Mirage set up. I know that the Mirage has mixed reviews here but I liked it last summer when I ate there.

I have also had both the Monte Carlo buffet via MyVegas and the MGM dinner buffet as well.
The Monte Carlo was a huge disappointment and I sent them an email about my experience there.

On the other hand, the MGM Dinner buffet was quite a surprise! I was amazed at the freshness, the many food choices, and the great quality as well.
I will gladly pay for this buffet next trip, it was that good!

It's been awhile for me since a Luxor buffet dine, but I'd opt for the MGM instead. Good choice on the Mirage.

Haven't been to the Luxor Buffet, but will be trying it in October. So you know, hands down, the best buffet on the strip is at Planet Hollywood!!!

That's quite the claim. Have you been to the buffets at Wynn, Bellagio or Caesar's? For that matter we liked the Aria buffet better than Planet Hollywood.
