I travel to Vegas a couple times a year and I am looking for some new lunch spots in the Mid/South Strip Area (stay at Monte Carlo). Generally I eat at the Dragon Noodle at MC as they have a lunch special (soup, spring roll, rice, and entree) for about $10. It's a perfect size--not too big. I don't like to eat too heavy for lunch and feel bogged down for the rest of the afternoon. Although more north, I also like Grand-Lux at Venetian (Asian Nachos are fantastic).
I like to stay under $20 for lunch and prefer to have a place where I can eat that the bar as I travel solo. As this is lunch, I am not necessarily looking for "gourmet" but I am looking for "good". During the day I generally gamble at MC, MGM, NYNY, or Mandalay Bay so a lunch spot at or near one of those locations would be preferred.

    Any suggestions?

The downstairs part of RM Seafood (located in the Mandalay Place shopping area next to Mandalay Bay) has a nice lunch menu. We like to eat in their bar area for casual but good food.

Noodle Shop at MB is good for lunch. Portions and price are along the lines you are talking about. No bar but get a table near the front where you can overlook the casino floor.

If you get to visit before they "improve" Red Square, they got a great lunch special. Great sliders and burgers. Sit at the bar.
