I recently read on a gambling forum... forget which... that on hot shot slots, you could play only 1 line and still get the bonus round... that really surprised me... so many of the machines require maximum bets to be eligible for bonus rounds... I would like the names of any slots you are aware of that don't have to be played with all lines or reels in order to get the bonus round.

Am going to be in Las Vegas between Christmas and New Year's for 5 full days... I apportion a specific bankroll for each day... and if my day has not gone well, i would like to know about some of these low rolling games... hate to go to my room early... my bets vary from 30 lines x one to $5.00 total... most bets are at lower levels around $1.00. Are any members aware of these low rolling games...???

Yes, that is true about the Hot Shot game. But the jackpots are a function of your total bet, so if you're only playing 1 line at 5 cents or something, your big money jackpot (if you hit it) at the end may only be a dollar instead of $20,000 or whatever.

A lot of the video games still qualify for the bonus rounds even if you're not playing all lines or max bet. The "Scatter" ones (these mini jackpot onese are activated similarly) are the ones, though, whose order on the lines does not matter.

There's a funny youtube video where this guy shows you how to play and win on just $1 at a HotShot machine.

Invaders From the Planet Moolah! is another that doesn't require full coin for bonus rounds. Just like Hotshot, your wins are based in your bet amount, so you can get a bonus round on a nickel bet, but you won't win much if you do.

Some of the Aristocrat machines allow you to play 1x on 3 reels and the complete 3rd row across for 7 cents a spin and you can still hit the 3,4, or 5 coin bonus round as well. Buffalo is one machine I know works well for this.

If I've depleted my BR for the day and still want my Myers and cokes for free, then I find a buffalo machine(and don't insert my players card), stick in a five, then hack away for hours at 7 cents a spin until I'm either drunk or completely bored outta my mind with these super small payouts.

2 months ago I watched the lady sitting next to me playing Timber Wolf for 10 cents a spin. She hit the bonus round, got the 3x and 5x wilds to line up on the third row and the other 3 reels were all the mountain man. She won $41 on that ten cent spin! I was totally shocked, but happy for her as well.

Wolf Run has bonus rounds at 40 lines x 1. Same for the similarly themed Coyote Moon. I believe there's a chicken version as well.

If you can find the old Stinking Rich machines, even when you don't play max lines, if you hit a bonus, the bonus plays for all lines.
