    HI all,

After staying at mostly 4-5 star places, my next trip I decided to drop down a category (or 2). I am leaving toward the renovated Linq.

I just need a standard room, a suite doesn't appeal to me.

Walking distance from room to strip is a factor.

I know there are other choices, but I like the location of these. Because these are close to so much, dining options and gaming options really dont factor in, as I can walk to Cosmo, PH, Paris and O'sheas for my fave gambling/eating spots.

Of the above 3, which would you pick?

    Thanks

Linq 100 times out of a 100 times. Room to casino to strip is all very close. Location is prime, right between Flamingo and Harrahs. Best of all worlds. Stayed at the Linq in November and Loved it. will be there again in 30 days

Bally's is always our choice since they now have the Jubilee rooms. For 13 yrs or so....always Bally's or Paris. We stayed in a nice Go room at Flamingo for NYE week & liked it but would still choose Bally's since connected to Paris and everything else we love is close by. Must say though....kind of interested in possibly staying at Linq on a future trip.....really like the new vibe of casino.
Probably would be good at any of those......

If closeness to strip is your only consideration then Linq is first for sure.

If you are younger and want more of a party Vibe, then Flamingo would be my choice (also, if a fun pool experience is important)

    Out if those 3:

    If pool is important: Flamingo

If New and Hot is important: LINQ

If experiencing Ballys is important: Ballys (there pool is more of and read a book place) I was generally underwhelmed with everyrhing in Ballys. Not that anything was POOR, just that nothing was outstanding.

Depending on your dates you may find that these places aren't very close in price at all.

    The LinQ.
New modern rooms, fridges, Wi-Fi in room and property, security at the elevators, part of the LinQ Entertainment Center, location is perfect, the Pool will have Corona Cabana's, the room has 47" TV's and your're right next door to O'Shea's and Margaritaville.

In terms of price savings, you're best to go with Harrah's, then Flamingo followed by the Linq. They are all within a stones throw of each other, so it's just what you prefer. I always choose the Flamingo because of their pool
Honestly, if location is what you're shooting for, you can't go wrong with any of these.

Totally agree, we stay at Harrahs majority of the time based on free rooms and location. Last few trips the Linq has gotten a lot of our play. Great atmosphere!!!
