Didn't even know about it, or ever even used the bus system except for a trip or two on the Duece, until somehow posted here recently how they would never take the WAX again.

Ended up taking it from the airport to downtown. Convenient, on time, and cheap.

People have different expectations from things so what I find excellent; you might find mundane. So all the posts have to be taken with a grain of salt. There is a wealth of infor mation to be found here but you have to pick and choose.....most is subjective. I have had no trouble riding shuttles to my hotels and back to the airport. Cabs can be cheaper with several people. I find the Wax faster than both and cost $1.00 cause I'm old! 30 minutes to downtown for a buck! Even the DEUCE has provided me with entertainment better than in some of the casinos for cheap though there are times I had to put up with people where were irrational, drunk or just plain stinky! It's my big city experience ! I amuse myself all year checking in here and writing notes of new places to eat, or things to do and putting them into a file for my next trip. Lots of tips on many things to make the trip cheaper, more fun or more comfortable. The bus system is inexpensive and can be quite simple of you want to put a little time into looking at the routes and schedules.

Sonya has provided the perfect atmosphere for us to exchange information and ideas. Perhaps she should do something in Washington DC to get everyone to work together! (Sonya;s travel2DC.com) Now there's a good idea!
