We enjoy an 'unexpected' performance from a good band or singer on each trip. We are back in 3 weeks and wondered what anyone would recommend at present? Fairly eclectic tastes (we will be doing 'Big Elvis', duelling pianos at Times Square, saw Britney and Matt Goss last trip) so nothing is 'off limits' style-wise! We found a good band playing soft rock covers at the Xtra Lounge (?) PH last trip and hope to find something as good this trip....
We will also have at least one night downtown and take in FSE and any bands there but again, recommendations gratefully accepted.....
    Any ideas received with thanks

This is a great post, every once in awhile walking through casinos we hear a great cover band. Due to the overwhelming number of casinos/clubs in them/ bands a way to search genre and times would be awesome. ABout 10 years ago in the Mirage we heard a great cover band with a female singer. The whole experience was fun. We stopped back on consecutive years only to find them not playing or the lounge was moved etc..

I've heard great bands in Mandalay Bay and Luxor. No idea if they are still having that type of entertainment there. Also stumbled into bands at the lobby bar at Caesars.

Thanks guys, I saw a great band at Mandalay but it was years ago in the central lounge bar. We used to always go to the old bar at Bellagio also (pre Hyde days) and they had a great band. Always try and catch something new but wondered really if anyone had any recommendations now......if not, we will do our usual stroll and at about 10/10.30 pm start listening out wherever we happen to be! Will try and write it up after the trip so others can listen out.....

I've walked by a few places that have entertainment. Aside from the ones you mentioned, Bally's has a lounge with a stage. I don't know if they still have it, but I remember Paris having a dueling piano show. I like the one at NYNY better, but of course, that's just my opinion. Paris also has a lounge act in the casino area against the wall close to the Total Rewards center.

I normally hate piano bars, but boy oh boy Don't Tell Momma on FSE is a helluva lot of fun. They usually get a respectable pianist, decent singing bartenders, and a "take all comers" approach to requests from the audience. Tough not to get a kick outta that place.

Le cabaret lounge in Paris. This coming Saturday and Sunday JAMM will be performing! I've seen them 5 of the past 6 years at either Ballys ( old Indigo lounge) and or le cabaret. Best old skool group group that I've seen in Vegas!
