Does anyone know if the comp cruises from m-life on royal Caribbean keep express comps
current? I wasn't able to make it to vegas in the calender year, but received status points on cruise
now the $1180 express comps are gone from my site ? Thx All

If you are Pearl or above and earn 1 Mlife Tier Credit within 12 months of the last one, it's supposed to keep your ECs alive. 6 months if you're Sapphire.

Having Tier Credits and ECs temporarily disappear off the MLife web site used happen every once in a while. I don't check my account often enough anymore to know if that's still true, but I haven't seen any threads about it lately.

Did you earn MLife Tier Credits on the cruise? You said status points, that's not precise enough.

I am not very sure about the answer.
Tier credits from partners may or may not be able to keep your express comps.
I would call Mlife to get it back. $1180 is a lot.

If you don't think you might make it to an MLife casino within every calendar year, you might want to get the MLife credit card. Your Mlife Players Club number is linked to the card, and as long as you charge something - anything - within those 12 months it will keep your points current.

It looks to me like MLife still has the relationship with Royal Caribbean and you can still learn TCs from play on a ship.

It's hard to find anything on it on the MLife website, but MGM Resorts has a page about their newer relationship with Celebrity Cruises, and in its FAQ it refers to Caribbean and has a link to this Caribbean page:

    http://www.royalcaribbean.com/contentWithGallery.do?pagename=mgm_partnership

So if your TCs from Royal Caribbean got posted within 12 months of your last previous TC, it should keep your Express Comps alive. I'd contact MLife either way, if you somehow missed the 12 months by a few days or a couple of weeks, they may give them back to you.

I just heard back from my host, it seems that I was not told the truth by m-life desk
the cruise does accumulate tier credits, but for some reason does not keep your
express comps active! so it looks like I have lost the $1180 comp ! I'm not happy
but I'm not going to let it affect my September trip

There's a chance your host might be able to get it back for you. If you haven't asked yet, I'd recommend it.

Yeah, I would press hard to get them back, that's a lot of $. And I wouldn't wait either, the more time that goes by the harder it's going to be to get them back. I would hope your host would go to bat for you on this one.

If you got Tier Credits, that should keep your ECs alive. It's in the FAQ on one of the MLife web pages.

Do my points and Express Comps expire?

A member's accumulated points and Express Comps may be subject to forfeiture if the member's M life Rewards account does not reflect any activity (which means earning points or earning Tier Credits) for a period of six (6) months for Sapphire Members or a period of twelve (12) months for Pearl, Gold, Platinum and NOIR Members.

    Seems pretty clear to me.
