So I was watching this earlier today, love to watch Vegas movies in anticipation of my upcoming trips, and noticed as they were driving toward the Desert Inn there was a raised tram area they drove under with red and white flashing neon wrapping the outside of it! I couldnt tell from the movie where this used to be, anyone know of what I am talking about? I can probably get a picture off the tv if not! Thanks

It's been years since I've watched this, now I have a reason to again, hopefully it's on Netflix streaming. I like Albert Brooks. I remember the scene where she lost all the money and tried to talk the casino into giving it back. Good stuff.

VV, its right before that part of the movie, they just left LA in the RV and and it shows them drive down Fremont St then past Vegas World, then next scene is this over head neon tram with tram buses on top of it driving. Next scene is the Riv then the DI where they park and stay! IF its in order, it would have had to be somewhere around the Sahara or Circus Circus, but it is a movie so who knows if it was just thrown in there or what. I was impressed that they kept the scenes in order though for the most part, unlike say Last Vegas where they are walking to Aria supposedly but they are going north past the Mirage! lol

I should be in town Sat morn about 10-1030 am barring any weather incidents lol! We will be checking in to Cosmo sometime in the afternoon on Sunday, so I will message you on FB when we get to the strip. I think the game is on at 4 here so 1pm there I believe, I might watch it downtown somewhere as I am sure we wont be able to get into Cosmo before that!

I just watched this movie because of this thread. The tram threw me off big time as well. Never seen that before.

Overhead tram with red and white neon?

Perhaps pink and white? It sounds like the old Circus Circus tram that runs from the north side of the front tower to the rear tower.

You nailed it. I checked it out on Google maps and sure enough, that is exactly what I saw in the movie. I had no idea they had a tram.
