Back in September, the wife and I were plugging away for hours at video poker at the Fremont. A slot host comes by and checks in with us. She introduces herself and gives us her card, and then a comp for the buffet. She tells us that when we come back to Vegas, we should give her a call.

Well, as you might have guessed, we lost her card. We'd like to stay downtown in March, but so far don't have any offer that we love.

Should we call the Fremont and talk to someone with B Connected, or just ask for a random slot host? Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

Gosh...just a little of what she looks like. I'd say she was in her 50's or so. If there are pictures I might know (a photo lineup! :) )

do any of these names ,which I found on vp-free, ring a bell?

    liz damon
    lydia tressler
    terri lorenzen

would definitely call and ask for a host and tell her your story if one of the above names are not her---they should have a record of your play

Hmmm...they don't, but thank you, duke! I did call. The only thing they could offer was to evaluate our play and make a comp decision at the end of our stay. We're already comped at Harrah's, but really would like to stay downtown. Considering a similar offer from the El; 2,000 pts. for a comp night (at least we know exactly what to hit).

We got a comp offer from Golden Gate, but we stayed there a couple trips back and the room was way too small.

Thanks. Got an offer from B Connected for a comp finally, so we're in business!
