Looks like Springfield is a go

    It will be interesting to see if the plan to actually integrate a casino into the surrounding city works or if it just becomes another Atlantic City. For me, this is half the distance to Foxwoods from my home, but if the NY State casinos put one near Albany that might mean just a ten minute ride. I just hope they include live poker rooms in their planning. I have not heard much about that.

    How far are you from Turning Stone? Thats about 3 hours for me and I'm right next to Springfield.

    I'm about ah hour and a half from Turning Stone, but I don't like the poker there. I'd rather go up to Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods. I'll certainly go to Springfield. It is about the same distance as Turning stone for me and a much nicer ride with less tolls. Besides I think Springfield is a cool city and I look forward to exploring. Of course, all that depends on their opening a live poker room. Without that I won't bother with them at all.
