I'm looking for ideas for something fun to do for my wife's bday in July. We'll be there from 20-23 and I want to do something different with her. We've been tons of times but looking for new ideas. We already are planning to see Zumanity so not looking for other show suggestions. We're not huge into clubbing but if we do would prefer a 30s+ crowd.

We're going to try the Linq and downtown next time we're there. They have revamped downtown and its supposed to be pretty fun now. We're also in our 30's and don't particularly like clubbing either, so we stick to the bars and lounges. The top of Mandarin Oriental, called the Mandarin Bar, is spectacular at sunset.

On a side note, before you head out stop at a party store and buy birthday stuff. When she goes into the room to shower and dress decorate the room with a HB banner and what ever you can. Keep it up during the duration of the trip!

Go to dinner but don't eat dessert. Go ride the High Roller then stop in at Gordon Ramsey Steak. Sit at the bar and have the sticky toffee pudding and French press. So so good and would be the perfect birthday dessert

Before your show (our fav Cirque show, btw, tho a couple acts are odd...), go to MIX at the top of Mandalay Bay for drinks & dinner--especially near sunset. Fantastic views, great food & ambiance

For my 50th Birthday my wife rented a cabana at the pool. It made for a real nice day!

Another great view /drinks/ dinner option at MB is Foundation Room. Both mIX and Foundation Room are good options, it depends on your menu preference for dinner.

    Enjoy!
