Headed to LV next Sunday, staying at Sky Suites. I have about $150 in comps available from total rewards, and was looking to use them on restaurants for two of us.. I have no aversion to spending more than that on one meal, so I was looking for suggestions. I'm not too big of a buffet guy, but I've heard good things about the Bacchanal buffet at Caesar's, so i was thinking that may be an option. Was curious if anyone had a list of CET "must-dos" or "never-agains"

You have at least 100 choices - maybe more like 200 to use that $150.

If you are staying at a CET hotel, you can use Mon Ami and charge to your room. It is one of the few on premise locations that will not take RC directly. Other than that, the list is long. Can not say we have had a bad meal anywhere.

The ones I still like are Beijing Noodle 9 and Payard's Patisserie. Payard's is a pastry/dessert spot as well as a small cafe. I like MAG but you would probably have to get a voucher from Total Rewards to eat there.

Any food type preferences? Agree MAG is great....good food & nice to sit on patio to people watch. There are sooooo many CET options.....

    Giada at Cromwell
    Mesa Grill at Caesars

Lots of other options as well. One other I will mention is Voodoo Steak at Rio - not a "foodie" place but we have enjoyed the meals there and the view is incredible from the adjoining deck on the top of the Rio - best view in Vegas IMO.

I highly recommend the newer steakhouse at Ballys. We went with a group of 8 in August. Both the service and the food were impeccable

You can also go to the TR desk and get a dining credit to use at Mon Ami Gabi. You just have to pick a dollar amount you think you spend.

+1 for Mesa Grill. I was toying with the idea of making a trip down later this month and just the thought of the pumpkin soup, duck tacos and porterhouse lamb chops pretty much made up my mind for me. Love that place!

Thanks everyone! I just got an e-mail from a friend of mine that is staying at the Rio the same time we're at Aria. Looks like we might be trying Voodoo Steak over there. Any thoughts from anyone on that place?

Choices at Rio have diminished as Buzio's and the Italian place have both closed. I would recommend lunch at the dim sum place (near the sportsbook). It is always packed, great food and would be a good experience for a party of four. In case your interested, right across the street at the Gold Coast is Ping Pang Pong for an even better dim sum experience.

    Have a good time.

I've enjoyed Old Homestead at Caesars. Better than Ruth's Chris and GR steak IMO. Recommend the bone in filet topped with scampied prawns.

The nice thing about Voodoo steak is the view and you can go up to the club afterwards if you're in to that. I've never eaten there though.
