The wife wants to spend her 50th birthday in Vegas. Who am I to argue about having to go to Vegas again.

Reservations already made and looking to do something unique. If it matters we are staying at Caesars.

Show and dinner plans are for the most part already set, but could be altered if a neat idea comes about. (Hmmm, maybe dinner at the top of the Strat for the view? Scratch this idea as I just checked their lunch menu online and its very limited. )

Thought about have a nice floral arrangement in the room during checking, but no idea how to go about doing it, if its something the hotel does and will it cost a fortune???

Thought about a spa day but no idea as to what type to get as there are numerous options. Also not sure if she would want solo or couples.

Debated about a helicopter tour and previously hinted about it. Unfortunately it didn't seem to be something she would enjoy based on her response.

I am sure she will be thrill just to be in Vegas for her birthday but I am interested doing something extra.

What ideas do you have to offer????

    Thunder Down Under or Chippendales.

I don't know if you typically rent a car but if not consider a limo from/to the airport. $130 round trip on Presidential. Includes a bottle of champagne and a rose. Book online. Recommended. She'd like it.

Is it just the two of you? We celebrated both of our 50ths in Vegas but had a group with us so my ideas may not work if just you two?

Here's one thing I did for hubby's 50th......t-shirts. I also did a man on the street interview video saying George XXX is turning 50 in Vegas, it was hilarious what strangers said.

If your wife isn't into spas, a spa day might be overkill. Does she routinely have massages or facials in your hometown? Then a spa day might be an excellent choice. If not, perhaps a single spa treatment of her choice would be less overwhelming than an entire spa day.

Is she physically active and is she okay with heights? Then a hiking trip or doing the awesome ziplines in the desert might be fun.

Does she like 80s music? Consider seeing Raiding the Rock Vault at Tropicana?

Good luck finding the perfect ideas for your wife!

Yes she does get massages so a single massage may work.
Although she is active we are going later in the year and know it will be too cold for her wanting to spend an extended time outdoors.
The Raiding the Rock Vault may actually work as I believe she commented about that before. Will have to see if another show can be squeezed in.

I sent a bottle of wine and strawberries to a woman I worked with when she was in Vegas a few years ago for her B-day at Caesars, was not crazy.

I am unsure if they would be able to have it waiting in your room upon check in due to the fluid nature of Vegas hotel rooms. But maybe you can have it arranged to be delivered upon check in or after your first night out.

We actually discussed this for our anniversary, but for her birthday she probably wants something better than marrying me again. :evillaugh

I was sent a lovely bouquet to my hotel
by Proplants a couple years ago when I was in
Vegas on a girls trip, They were gorgeous and my
husband said they were easy to order and reasonably priced.
The Front desk will have bell service deliver them.
Coach has a great outlet store and have excellent quality
purses: they're not Prada, but they're really nice!
Hope she has a Happy Vegas Birthday! Good luck!

Why not take her up on the High Roller? You can have drinks or have a bartender serve you. You can do Happy Hour or rent the cabin and just be the two of you.
You also could arrange for a specific time to maximize the scenery at Sunset.
    Happy B-Day.

Caesar's spa is supposed to be really nice. A friend of mine went a while ago and really enjoyed it and I will be going on my next trip. They have day passes for $50 if you are staying at a CET property and their spa menu is available on line.

Maybe an especially nice table at Mandarin Bar, and a nice bottle of whatever? Bring Vegas to her, don't make her run around to enjoy it! Good Luck!

One alternative to a spa visit would be to go and send her to one of the celebrity hair salons in Vegas, maybe on a night before you have dinner planned. I believe Caesars has a Michael Boychuk salon called Color that is quite popular. If her hair doesn't need any treatments (color or cut) she could just get a great blow out, enjoy a glass of champagne, maybe get her make-up done. I did this at another salon in Vegas before a night out and really enjoyed it!
