This is funny, because it didn't happen to me :D

I was in LV last week for a convention and met up with a buddy shortly after he arrived. He was telling me about his taxi from the airport to TI and that the driver asked if he would like to take the freeway, since it would be quicker. He agreed to the freeway. Upon arriving, he used his CC to pay and used the automatic 20% tip option on the CC device. Not looking at the amt. until later he realized his tab was $36. Not to ruin his trip he trudged on into the lobby to check in. At the front desk as they attempted to find his reservation they asked him to spell his name for them. To their dismay they told him they had no record of him in their system. He then asked "Well this is Treasure Island isn't it?", to which they replied "No, it's Mirage". Well, after getting longhauled and not noticing he'd been dropped off at the wrong hotel, feeling like a total moron , he gathered up his stuff and walked to TI.

Perhaps your buddy could start reading not only the fine print but the large print as well.
