I just got a LOC with CET (Paris) and I have to active it at the cage when I go on my trip in a few weeks.

Quick question... say I take a marker out for 5k.... I play Craps/BJ/Roulette and say I win 6k....
Can I then go pay that marker at the cage off right away with the 5k in cash ?

I am a newb when it comes to paying the markers off etc....

    Thanks all !

    Yes.

They should then give you the marker back.
    Destroy it how you wish.

You can pay off the marker....but you do not have to. You can take the $$6000 home with you, or you can take it to another casino and gamble it ....whatever you want. They want you to pay it off - because they do not want to give you an interest free loan for 2 weeks. But nothing says you have to pay it off with your winnings. You can simply wait and have them take the money from your account in 2 weeks - or whatever the stated interval of time is.

But yes, if you do pay it off at the cage, they will return the marker to you and you can rip it up and throw it away.

Sometimes, the table will actually keep the marker at the table while you are playing. In this case, when you color up, they might ask you to payoff the marker and return the marker to you. This happened to me at the Bellagio. but most times, you have to go to the cage to pay it off.
